George Siede is a life-long photographer and co-founding partner in Siede Preis Photography.

After receiving a much-desired camera on his seventh birthday, George fell in love with photography and has been taking pictures ever since. Unlike his wife and business partner. George is a mostly self-taught artist. Following graduation with a “sensible” degree in business from Florida State University he began to take photography courses in order to expand on the basics and to gain access to the photo labs at The Fine Arts Department. He found a new spirit of camaraderie and shared learning among the artists there which has continued over the course of a lifetime spent working as a photographer. George has advanced his photography skills as a commercial photographer and as an artist through research, experimentation, and the creative osmosis that comes from being around other artists and photographers.
