Gas stations are so ubiquitous across the American landscape that we either take them for granted or ignore them completely. I am fascinated by old abandoned gas stations because they are such time capsules, ghostly reminders reflecting the architectural styles of bygone eras. At times I will come across an old station that has been repurposed to serve the needs of another type of business or even adapted for residential use. Here are a few favorites from my collection.
