It was a little too cold today to enjoy the water slide at the famous Blue Whale swimming pond
A momentary delay at the Volvo dealer in Tulsa to verify that the check engine warning light was just the usual warning that the catalytic converter was getting a bit long in the tooth. I had them throw in new spark plugs at the mechanics suggestion to see if that helps prevent this in the future.
Back on the old route and seeing a lot of old towns along the way....

Interesting architecture on this school in Chandler, OK. There were a whole lot of stone buildings along the route today.
Back on the slab towards the end of the day, still in Oklahoma, I spied the first wind-propelled tumbleweeds zooming across the highway and then as I got into Texas it looked like this with powdery snow blowing across the road and the sky all grayed out so you had the feeling the sun was going to set any moment except it stayed just like this for about three hours.
